I love markets. Being a wannabe crafty type, but with no skills or time I just love living vicariously through fairs, markets and shows. The Okato craft market was held on Saturday and when I heard that the lovely Pip from Petal Pusher was going to be there with her terrariums, I just had to go.
Craft fairs are a great way to get ideas and talk to other crafty people, if you are planning on hand-crafting aspects of your wedding.
Say hi to Pip!
Pip’s beautiful floral creations are just beautiful and the photos I took just don’t do them justice. Her stall was an explosion of beautiful colours and smells, from fragrant lilies to peonies....there is something so special about a thoughtful bouquet of fresh flowers. If you are looking for someone to help you with flowers for your wedding, get in touch with Pip at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have to mention the terrariums!
Terrariums are a living world inside a vessel. I become illogically excited about terrariums, my Mum had one when I was little and I was convinced that was where the fairies lived. I still get that “little girl feeling” when I see one and I bemoan my size, as I’d just love to hop inside the jar and wander around. Pip’s terrariums are perfect little eco-systems. And I think terrariums would make the coolest centrepiece for wedding tables!
