Okurukuru is a West Coast Vineyard with associated luxury accommodation, cellar door and an extensive Function Centre.

A quick 10-kilometre drive into New Plymouth, Okurukuru is situated on Taranaki's spectacular coastline, overlooking Paritutu Rock and the Sugar Loaf Islands on one side with a clear sight of our majestic Mount Taranaki on the other. Our Chalets include two luxury suites and six modern studio apartments with our newly designed disabled unit. Built by Chris Bell Construction and opened in June 2020, the chalets are nestled into the hill above the coast, surrounded by vines and farmland. Each chalet has a balcony to watch the waves roll in with the complimentary bottle of Okurukuru wine waiting at check-in. The chalets boast all the mod cons such as Wi-Fi and smart TVs and they have been carefully designed to maximise the stunning setting; there are even sea views from the huge showers.

Situated in the heart of seasonally changing vines with stunning views of the coast, we are the ultimate private function venue for hire in Taranaki. An ideal location for hosting up to one hundred guests, the layout is wonderfully versatile with two rooms available, these can be hired separately or combined. For both rooms there is a safe and private outdoor area for you to make your own. From small meetings or family gatherings to larger conferences and weddings, we can accommodate your group and provide you with efficient and professional service for the duration.
